On July 14, Digital Media Wire is hosting the 2nd Annual
Mobile Games Insider, an exclusive event for the
industry’s key movers and influencers. 100 top
executives from the mobile games and entertainment
businesses and members of the media and analyst
community will be invited to attend an afternoon
conference at a private venue in Los Angeles.
This private event will allow select guests to listen to
and contribute to debates driven by the people who
create the headlines within the mobile games business.
We’ll also discuss the industry’s future growth, its
place within the overall games market and the issues
closest to the hearts and minds of industry leaders.
Guests will also enjoy complimentary cocktails at the networking reception held on the beach
veranda at the close of the program, as well as complimentary parking and refreshments during the afternoon
break.
The event’s goal is to explore the $3.3 billion mobile games industry, highlight the opportunities
and draw awareness to the challenges needed to be collectively overcome for the industry to progress to a
mass market phenomenon. It will be a compact afternoon, with a focused program of two panels and two
one-on-one interviews, drawing upon the expertise of leaders from mobile games publishers, platform owners
and brand owners. Invitations will be granted
on a case by case basis in the discretion of the event committee.

Mobile Games Publishing Panel
The mobile games market has reached a new stage of
maturity where two separate audience segments have
emerged: the first bringing in the PC casual gamer and
the second, a new emerging category that competes
directly with handheld gaming, driven by the growing
adoption of smart phones and other high end handsets.
These are two separate and distinct markets, with the
casual games being the big volume category. What are the
biggest opportunities for publishers to capitalize on
these mobile games growth opportunities?
